Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2017

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2017 is an economical heavy-duty spray cleaner that removes heavy soils and oily residues from ferrous and magnesium parts. Often used in rebuild operations and for cleaning up cast iron, stamped or drawn steel parts, or removing heavy RP coatings.

  • Very economical way to remove heavy soils and light rust
  • Low foaming at ambient temperatures, and even lower when used above 120°F (49°C)
  • Can be recycled using XYBEX® equipment
  • Contains no solvents, borates, silicates, nitrites, or amines

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2020 is a concentrated, very high performance cleaner made for washing all metals including brass, copper alloy, and aluminum in ultrasonic or immersion washers. Its cleaning ability is extraordinary, which often leads to shorter cleaning cycles or elimination of cleaning steps. CLEAN 2020’s oil rejecting properties mean longer bath life and economical operation.

  • Excellent cleaning in immersion and ultrasonic tanks
  • Long life because oils split rapidly to the surface of your cleaner tank where they can be skimmed off

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2029 "One Step"

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2029 "One Step" is a highly concentrated cleaner/corrosion inhibitor designed for spray washers and immersion tanks. This product will remove heavy soils and provide two-to-four weeks of indoor corrosion inhibition on steel and cast iron parts.

  • Formulated without silicates or other high pH additives, CLEAN 2029 “One Step” is compatible with ultrafiltration systems and bioremediation
  • An excellent choice for cabinet-style spray washers and can be used for washing steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, and many aluminum alloys
  • Hard water tolerant, it provides long bath life

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2115 is a high performance, low foam synthetic washing compound for use in very high- pressure spray washers, de-burring, and water jet cutting. Advanced surfactant technology provides excellent foam control, tramp oil rejection, and soil removal while leaving a short-term, anti-corrosive film on cast iron or steel parts and washer surfaces.

  • Compatible with a wide range of materials including cast iron, steels, zinc, plastics, and composites
  • When washing aluminum parts above 100F (40°C) consider using CLEAN 2115AL
  • Does not foam even when contaminated with large quantities of soils or coolant. This makes CLEAN 2115 an excellent choice where rapid buildup of coolant carryover creates a foam problem
  • Many CLEAN 2115 applications are in the range of 1500 to 3000 PSI (100 to 200kPa)
  • Provides excellent short-term corrosion inhibition on most common ferrous alloys

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2115AL is an aluminum compatible, high-performance, low-foam synthetic washing compound for use in very high-pressure spray washers, de-burring, and water jet cutting. Advanced surfactant technology provides excellent foam control and tramp oil rejection.

  • Compatible with a wide range of materials including aluminum, cast iron, steels, zinc, plastics, and composites
  • Resists foaming even when contaminated with large quantities of soils or coolant. This makes CLEAN 2115AL an excellent choice where rapid buildup of coolant carryover creates a foam problem

Near-neutral Washing Compound

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2430

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2430 is a highly-concentrated, mild pH, liquid-parts washing compound/corrosion inhibitor made for aluminum alloy and steel alloy parts as well as cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze. This product does a great job in single and multi-stage spray washers providing great detergency and long life. CLEAN 2430 may be used in medium and high-pressure spray washers and provides in process corrosion inhibition when not rinsed.

  • CLEAN 2430 provides state-of-the-art cleaning performance in a mild pH package
  • Nitrite and silicate free and leaves no powdery residue
  • Low foaming at normal operating temperatures for use in high-pressure spray washers
  • CLEAN 2430 “splits” oils to the surface of the cleaner tank for easy skimming
  • Is very hard-water stable and an excellent choice where ferrous, aluminum, and copper alloy parts are being washed in a single washer system

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 3011

Residue-free Multi-Metal Cleaner

Master STAGES™ CLEAN 3011 is a concentrated multi-purpose fluid that excels as a liquid parts washing compound or corrosion inhibitor and does not foam even at room temperature in high-pressure spray washers. It will remove light oils and water soluble cutting and grinding fluid residues and leave behind a thin rust inhibiting film for in-process corrosion inhibition of ferrous parts. CLEAN 3011 is also safe for use on aluminum alloy, copper, brass, bronze, and zinc. CLEAN 3011 is an excellent choice in cast iron operations where it can be used for cleaning and rust inhibition with excellent biostability.

  • Silicate, phosphate, and boron free and leaves no powdery residue
  • Low foaming for use in high-pressure spray washers or grinders and has excellent hard water stability
  • Has a moderate pH, excellent anti-corrosion, and does not require rinsing, making it an excellent short term, in-process corrosion inhibitor
  • This product maintains its alkalinity and biostability for long periods of time and will tolerate stagnant conditions such as leak test baths. It is also used in hydrostatic leak testing applications

Master STAGES™ NOCOR™ E6

Low V.O.C. Emulsion Corrosion Inhibitor Concentrate

Master STAGES™ NOCOR™ E6

Master STAGES™ NOCOR™ E6 is a super-concentrated, barium-free, water-based emulsion rust inhibitor that will protect steel, cast iron, and other ferrous parts from in-plant corrosion for up to six months. Parts coated with NOCOR E6 have a soft, almost invisible film that is easily removed using mild cleaners.

  • Environmental approvals are simplified because NOCOR E6 is nitrite, barium, boron, phenol, and phosphate free
  • NOCOR E6 is low foaming, for use in low-pressure spray washers and flow coating operations. Dip application is also a good way to apply this product
  • An excellent choice where both ferrous and/or copper alloy parts are being processed
  • NOCOR E6 has a moderate pH, is practically odorless, and is nonflammable for improved safety
  • Working concentration ranges from 4%-16% which translates into much lower cost than traditional straight oil/solvent products

Master STAGES™ NOCOR™ S2 is a synthetic, water soluble, ferrous corrosion inhibitor for short-term storage or shipment. Effective at concentrations from 3%—10% in water, it provides a very thin, water soluble protective film.

  • The transparent film left by NOCOR™ S2 is easily removed and will not interfere with additional machining, gauging, or assembly steps

Master STAGES™ RINSE 100 is a washing compound concentrate that does a great job of removing metalworking fluids and light oily films. This product will not stain ferrous or nonferrous materials and leaves an extremely thin film corrosion inhibitor, which does not interfere with gauging of parts. RINSE 100 is compatible with the TRIM™ family of cutting and grinding fluid concentrates.

Master STAGES™ Task2™ is a grime fighting, industrial strength, non-butyl, water-based cleaning agent that does an outstanding job in the industrial, commercial, or office environment. TASK2 out-cleans all the green, crystal, purple, "mean", "complex", and "simple" butyl-based products you may have tried in the past.

  • Use full strength or dilute up to 100:1

Master STAGES™ Whamex XT™ is a low foam, safe, fast-acting, concentrated formula that will save machine cleaning downtime while removing the oily residues, scums, and insoluble soap deposits that reduce coolant life. Whamex XT is made for cleaning out machine tool sumps and larger systems, coolant supply lines, and coolant recycling equipment. Whamex XT is compatible with most waste treatment (including ultrafiltration) and will not degrade TRIM® metalworking fluids when used as directed.

  • A very specialized formula that draws on many years of hands-on experience in machine cleanouts
  • Quickly breaks down and lifts off insoluble scum deposits hidden in lines and difficult to reach areas — getting rid of these residues is one of the best ways to extend coolant life in your system

Machine Tool Sump and System Cleaner

Master STAGES™ Whamex™

Master STAGES™ Whamex™ is a safe, fast-acting concentrated formula that will save machine cleaning downtime while removing the oily residues, scums, and insoluble soap deposits that reduce coolant life. Whamex is made for cleaning out machine tool sumps and larger systems, coolant supply lines, and coolant recycling equipment. Whamex is compatible with most waste treatment (including ultrafiltration) and will not degrade TRIM® metalworking fluids when used as directed.

  • A very specialized formula that draws on many years of hands-on experience in machine cleanouts
  • Quickly breaks down and lifts off insoluble scum deposits hidden in lines and difficult to reach areas - getting rid of these residues is one of the best ways to extend coolant life in your system
  • Very hard water tolerant allowing it to be effective in raw water or used coolant
  • Environmental approvals are simplified because Whamex contains no nitrites, phosphates, barium, phenols, or butyl cellusolve; this formula has very low V.O.C. content and no SARA 313 reportable ingredients
  • When used as directed below, this product is compatible with TRIM® brand synthetic, semisynthetic, and soluble oil coolants, as well as most competitive coolants. Will remove heavy soils from machines without affecting paints, coatings, seals, hoses, or skirting, and it won’t leave a slippery residue
  • Short-term corrosion inhibitors prevent flash rusting of machine surfaces and ways

  • PREFERRED METHOD FOR CLEANING MACHINE TOOLS AND CENTRAL SYSTEMS
  • Add 1%-3% Whamex™ into the machine sump and run machine as normal for at least 24 hours or more for best results. If the machine runs high pressure through-the-tool for significant amounts of time, the cleaner may cause some foam, keep a defoamer, such as Master STAGES™ DF1 or TRIM® TC 239, available during this process.
  • After the Whamex™ has circulated for at least 24 hours, pump out the sump and remove all chips, sludge, residue and swarf. Remember to clean out overflow areas and flumes.
  • Spray down the machine with a 10%-15% Whamex™ and water solution using The Whammer™ or a general-purpose garden sprayer. Scrub out the chips, sludge, and any other residues from all interior, exterior, tool changer areas including high-pressure sumps and filter canisters.
  • When possible, pull out the sump and remove the conveyor, and clean all surfaces of the sump and conveyor including screens, covers and the pumps themselves with the 10%-15% Whamex™ solution. When complete remove all fluid, chips swarf, grime and sludge.
  • Fill the sump with enough water to circulate the pumps and mix in 3%-5% Whamex™. Circulate this cleaning solution through the coolant system for 30-60 minutes.
  • Replace conveyor and sump; rinse the machine with water and 1.0% TRIM® coolant for rust protection, and circulate mixture through the coolant system for 10-30 minutes.
  • Pump out the rinse water as dry as possible and recharge with fresh TRIM® coolant at the designated concentration.
  • After circulating for 30 minutes check the concentration and make the necessary adjustments to insure the TRIM® coolant is within the designated concentration range.

  • QUICK CLEANING METHOD (FOR NONCRITICAL INTERIM CLEANING)
  • Add 1%-3% Whamex™ and circulate for 24 hours or more for best results. If the machine runs high-pressure through-the-tool for significant amounts of time, the cleaner may cause some foam, keep a defoamer, such as DF1 or TC 239, available during this process.
  • Utilizing The Whammer™, scrub down the machine including the inside, tool changer, exterior and crevices
  • Remove fluid sump and chip conveyor when possible and clean out all chips and swarf (Don’t forget pumps, covers, high-pressure tanks and filter canisters)
  • Replace conveyor and sump and rinse with 1% TRIM® coolant for 10-30 minutes
  • Remove 1% rinse fluid and recharge at specified concentration
  • Check concentration with refractometer
