TRIM™ 9106

Synthetic

TRIM 9106 is a clear, virtually odorless, synthetic coolant with excellent heat dissipating and corrosion inhibiting qualities. Recommended for grinding operations on cast iron, aluminum, and steels. Will not form ammonia when grinding cast iron and allows graphite to float and prevents swarf from clinkering when grinding cast iron. Contains no sulfur, phosphorus, chlorine, or other halogens.

    Clear Low Foaming Synthetic Coolant

    TRIM 9106CS is a synthetic cutting and grinding fluid concentrate. It is intended for situations where high heat removal, broad chemical compatibility, and maximum sump life are desired. TRIM 9106CS is particularly suited for surface grinding, turning, and milling of cast iron, mild steel, and many nonferrous materials. It is frequently very successful in central coolant delivery systems, critical path machines or systems where predictable performance is the critical issue.

  • WEDOLiT K 721

    Anti-corrosive agent

    WEDOLiT K 721 is an anti-corrosive protective medium of low viscosity for steel. It contains an inhibitor combination attuned to affording temporary protection from corrosion. When the solvent has evaporated a thin film of oil impervious to age forms on the treated surface which grants protection under covered storage facilities for several months and even allows a short period of exposure to weather in the open when, for example, goods are being transported from one factory location to another. This film can be easily removed even after a long period with the aid of organic solvents or water-soluble industrial detergents. As complete anti-corrosion protection however is not afforded until the solvent-free film has formed, a period of storage lasting some 24 hours should be observed for evaporation before packaging the freshly oiled material in cases with oiled paper or foil inserts.

    WEDOLiT K 721 is adjusted to give temporary corrosion protection to bright-drawn steel. In addition it is also suitable for the after-treatment of phosphatised parts to the extent that these are immersed in the oil free of water.

    WEDOLiT K 721 meets, after the evaporation of the solvent, all the requirements demanded by VDA 230- 201.

    WEDOLiT K 721 is the preferred medium for immersion baths in treating hollow bodies (pipe and tube, for example) at ambient temperatures because of its low viscosity. It can also be applied by spraying, flow coating or by means of rollers.

    WEDOLiT K 721 contains a solvent based mineral oil for adjusting viscosity with a flash point above 60°C.


    WEDOLiT K 722

    Corrosion Protection

    WEDOLiT K 722 is a low-viscosity corrosion protection oil for steel. It contains an inhibitor combination set for temporary corrosion protection in roofed storage. After evaporation of the solvent, a thin, age-resistant protective film with an oily film character is formed on the treated surface. This can be easily removed with organic solvents or water-soluble industrial cleaners even after prolonged storage of the preserved material. Since full corrosion protection is only provided in a solvent-free film, a storage time of approx. 24 hours for evaporation of the solvent should be observed before packing the freshly oiled material in boxes with oil paper or film.

    WEDOLiT K 722 is adjusted for corrosion protection of bright steel. Despite the extremely low film weights of only 1-2 g/m² treated surface, excellent corrosion protection is provided both in tests according to DIN EN ISO 6270-2 AHT and in hall weathering. Even with complete free weathering (sprinkling) a good corrosion protection is still given.

    WEDOLiT K 722 is strongly water displacing - Dewatering effect. The water absorbed by the oil bath separates from it after a short standing time and can be drained off via a valve at the bottom of the bath tank.

    WEDOLiT K 722 is preferably used as an impregnation bath at room temperature for the treatment of hollow bodies, e.g. pipes, due to its low viscosity. It can also be applied by spraying, flooding or rollers.

    WEDOLiT K 722 is approved by DaimlerChrysler under the number QSO 040212.


    WEDOLiT K 81

    Water-miscible coolant

    WEDOLiT K 81 is a water-miscible coolant, based on mineral oil. With water WEDOLIT K 81 forms stable emulsions in every mixture proportions. Emulsifying agents, inhibitors and high-pressure additives are combined, to allow a multipurpose application like metal working operations as well as corrosion protection.

    WEDOLiT K 81 is used as emulsion for chipless and cutting metal-working-operations. For corrosion protection we recommend the application by flooding with emulsion or the application of the concentrate.

    A very good corrosion protection is given by application as a hot emulsion (approx. 80°C) with a concentration of approx. 20% on zinc-phosphate coated surfaces with a layer of approx. 10-12 g/m². The corrosion protection test (salt-spraying-test) according to ASTM-B 117 or DIN 50021 gives no corrosion after a test-time of 48 hours.

    WEDOLiT K 81 is easily removable with industrial cleaners. After annealing under protective atmosphere no residues will be found.


    WEDOLiT K 91 V

    Anti-corrosion agent

    WEDOLIT K 91 is a temporary corrosion protection agent. WEDOLIT K 91 is a soft paste and it builds with water milky-disperse emulsions. To protect the parts WEDOLIT K 91 is applicable as aqueous solution in dipping- or spraying processes. Contrary to the dipping process the spraying process is to prefer, when the application should also obtain a cleaning effect. By application of WEDOLIT K 91 in dipping processes a heating of the emulsion to approximately 50°C is advantageous. The sojourn time of the parts in the immersion bath should be minimum 2-4 minute. The run-off time over the immersion bath is also 2-4 minute.

    By application of a 25% emulsion of WEDOLIT K 91 a slight greasy film with a layer weight of approximately 2 g/m² remains on the treated surface after evaporation of the water.

    The corrosion protection under a roof corresponds with a middle corrosion protection agent based on solvents. When a lower corrosion protection is sufficient the concentration of the emulsion, i.e. the layer weight can be reduced.

    WEDOLIT K 91 is also applicable as cleaning- and washing emulsion in aqueous solution with a concentration of 10%.

    Tramp Oil Terminator™

    Portable Centrifuge Unit for Removing Emulsified Tramp Oils

    Developed to meet the needs of the small metalworking plant for a compact, portable, high-speed centrifuge, tramp oil separator, the Tramp Oil Terminator™ will process both water-miscible coolants and aqueous cleaners to remove free and emulsified tramp oils, providing clean and reusable coolants and cleaners. Removing tramp oils (hydraulic oils, way lubes or any undesirable oil) from coolants and cleaners removes a food source for bacteria, reduces undesirable residues, and reduces smoke and oil mist in the shop atmosphere.

    Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker™



    The Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker™ will clean virtually any machine tool sump quickly and thoroughly. During the process of cleaning the machine, the sump cleaner also:

    • Removes the coolant, sludge and chips from the sump
    • Filters the sludge and chips from the coolant
    • Returns the filtered coolant to the sump, or transports the coolant to waste treatment for disposal or to a XYBEX Recycling System

    The Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker is fast! In a typical example, a cylindrical grinder sump with 120 U.S. gallons (454 liters) of coolant and 700 pounds (318 kilograms) of sludge was completely cleaned, the coolant filtered, and returned to the sump in ten minutes.
