The zinc phosphate layer should be at least 4 μm (at heavy forming operations, e.g. cold extrusion, up to 10 μm). Due to specific additives, a maximum conversion of zinc phosphate and the drawing media occurs, which results in an optimal performance regarding degree and rate of deformation
  • Can be used in very low concentrations of 5 - 10% as an aqueous solution (tube drawing). The best results are obtained with water free media
