TRIM® semisynthetics offer the cooling and lubricity of a synthetic without the higher oil content of an emulsion. Designed to operate at higher SFPM, semisynthetics perform well on many operations including face milling, cut-off turning, grinding, tapping, and drilling — depending on the specific product.

Semisynthetics are compatible with alloy steels, tool steels, cast irons, copper alloys, as well as plastics and composites. With less carryoff, semisynthetics use less material — it all adds up to lower costs.

Low-foam Ferrous Semisynthetic

TRIM<sup>®</sup> MicroSol<sup>®</sup> 455

TRIM® MicroSol® 455 low-foam semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant is optimized for high-volume cast iron, ferrous, and some aluminum and nonferrous metalworking operations. MicroSol 455 prevents leaching of elemental iron and eliminates clinkering and oxidation of ferrous micro fines.

TRIM® MicroSol® 585XT is a high-lubricity, semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant. The formula delivers extended sump life and better foam control versus previous generation semisynthetics. It provides excellent cooling and mechanical lubricity, along with the machine-friendly characteristics you expect from a premium TRIM® coolant. While it is particularly well suited for machining and grinding gray iron, it does very well in mixed metal situations. MicroSol 585XT has proven to be an exceptional machining fluid for titanium alloys.

TRIM® SC210 is a semisynthetic, general-purpose cutting and grinding fluid concentrate for the multi-material, multi-operations shop. SC210 has the wetting and cooling characteristics of a premium heavy duty synthetic for superior turning, milling and "plain" grinding results. It also has sufficient oil for most "down-the-hole operations" on machining centers. This product complies with most stringent health, safety, and environmental mandates

TRIM<sup>®</sup> SC230

TRIM® SC230 is a low oil, semisynthetic fluid which meets the needs of the modern and demanding job shops. SC230 makes use of the latest in synthetic coolant formulations, and a specially synthesized oil to produce a versatile product ready to meet the demands of the 21st century. This combination of a proprietary chemical formulation and new synthetic oil technology results in a semisynthetic product that will not foam, rejects tramp oil, has great sump life, and is kind to both machines and operators. This product will perform well in centerless and cylindrical form grinding as well as on high-speed, single point turning, and down-the-hole work on vertical and horizontal machining centers.

  • Compatible with a very wide range of materials

Chlorine-free Semisynthetic Coolant

TRIM® SC410 is a chlorine-free, semisynthetic coolant using vegetable-derived and ester lubricants. It runs clean in moderate-duty machining and grinding of both ferrous and nonferrous materials. In addition to its broad range of machining qualities, it has been specially optimized for machining "gray iron" castings and for surface and cylindrical grinding of ferrous materials.

  • Based on our exclusive ester lubricant technology, contains no mineral (petroleum) oil

TRIM® SC639 is a general purpose semisynthetic cutting and grinding fluid concentrate which provides an excellent balance between cooling and lubricity. SC639 has very good corrosion protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous metal, and can be used for a wide range of high-speed turning and grinding operations. SC639 leaves a thin layer of water soluble oil residue that provides extra protection to the machine tools parts while keeping the machine clean.
