TRIM® GRIND WC

Carbide Grinding Synthetic

TRIM® GRIND WC minimizes cobalt leaching in the grinding of tungsten carbide (WC) and other high cobalt materials. Minimal cobalt leaching means increased piece part integrity, while improving "G RATIOS" and reducing grinding forces. GRIND WC is specifically designed for the carbide grinding industry; it will also perform very well in grinding ceramics, cermets, and tool steels.

  • Keeps super-abrasive wheels clean while not attacking super-abrasive wheel bonding systems
  • Carries grinding swarf to the filter, but will release swarf in properly designed settling tanks
  • Is not stripped out by conventional filtration systems
  • Operators like GRIND WC’s clear working solution for superior visibility while grinding
  • Exceptional sump life and good tramp oil rejection for easy skimming
  • Resists oxidation and varnishing
  • Resists cobalt leaching for improved operator safety, stronger parts, and cleaner machines
  • Very low carryoff equals low fluid makeup costs
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment

  • Low foaming in most operations
  • Compatible with a very wide range of materials including ferrous, nonferrous, and nonmetallic material
  • Will provide superior sump life and corrosion inhibition for long periods of time without adds
  • Prevents chip "clinkering" and "hot" chip hoppers when machining cast iron
  • Will keep the machine and work environment clean even when machining or grinding gray iron
  • Contains no chlorine or sulfur-based additives
  • Contains no nitrites, sulfonates, Alkylphenol Ethoxylates, or phenols and is not SARA 313 reportable
  • Very low carryoff and long sump life, delivering low operating costs
  • Hard water tolerant up to 30 grains

TRIM® MicroSol® 456

Low-foam Ferrous Semisynthetic

TRIM® MicroSol® 456 low-foam semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant is optimised for high-volume cast iron, ferrous, and some aluminium and nonferrous metalworking operations. MicroSol 456 prevents leaching of elemental iron and eliminates clinkering and oxidation of ferrous micro fines.

Delivering extended sump life, machine-friendly MicroSol 456 provides excellent, cost-effective cooling. Make a difference to your bottom line with MicroSol 456.

  • Low foaming for today's demanding high-pressure, high-volume applications
  • Also for machining some aluminium alloys and nonferrous metals
  • Provides superior corrosion inhibition on cast iron and eliminates "hot chip" and clinkering problems
  • Keeps machines very clean while leaving a soft fluid film for ease of cleaning and reduced maintenance
  • Requires no special disposal or recycling

TRIM™ SC310BC

Microemulsion Semisynthetic - Brown Color

TRIM™ SC310BC is a high-oil, semichemical coolant. This product combines the cooling, rust inhibition, and wetting of a premium synthetic with the mechanical lubricity and machine "friendliness" of a soluble oil. SC310BC is well-suited for general, high-speed machining and grinding of all materials.

  • Compatible with a very wide range of material including: cast iron, steels, copper, and many plastics and composites
  • Provides superior corrosion inhibition on all ferrous and nonferrous metals and eliminates “hot chip” and clinkering problems often seen when machining cast iron
  • Keeps machines very clean while leaving a soft fluid film for ease of cleaning and reduced maintenance
  • Has exceptional sump life and very low makeup for extremely low total operating cost
  • Low odor and mist makes for an operator-friendly product
  • Extremely effective EP additive package
  • Contains no nitrites, heavy metals, phenolic compounds
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment

TRIM® E860KS

Premium, General-purpose Emulsion

TRIM® E860KS is a high quality, general-purpose emulsion, which requires minimal maintenance in even the most demanding fluid management systems. It has broad application in machining and grinding on a wide range of materials. The high levels of both chemical and mechanical lubricity in this product handle the tough machining and grinding jobs. It leaves a very easy to clean protective film on the work piece and machine parts to prevent corrosion on metal surfaces including the machine tool. The stable and predictable performance of TRIM E860KS makes it a first choice for high quality, consistent parts manufacturing.

  • Very stable formula provides long operational life with consistent performance
  • Extremely hard water tolerant
  • Very wide application range
  • Suitable for both grinding and machining
  • Fine particle size emulsion reduces carry-off and facilitates getting the fluid to the point of cut
  • In high-speed turning and milling, provides good tool life and surface finishes
  • Protects machine and tool surfaces while also preventing sticky ways, chucks, tool holders, and fixtures
  • Coolant is easily removed with water, working solution or aqueous cleaners
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment
  • Will run effectively for long periods without the need for costly additives
  • Works very well in general machining where traditional soluble oil may not cool sufficiently

TRIM® SC639

General Purpose Semisynthetic

TRIM® SC639 is a general purpose semisynthetic cutting and grinding fluid concentrate which provides an excellent balance between cooling and lubricity. SC639 has very good corrosion protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous metal, and can be used for a wide range of high-speed turning and grinding operations. SC639 leaves a thin layer of water soluble oil residue that provides extra protection to the machine tools parts while keeping the machine clean.

  • Provides excellent lubricity for various machining applications
  • Provides excellent corrosion and rust inhibition on ferrous and nonferrous alloys, preventing clinkering problems of cast iron chips in machining
  • Keeps machines very clean and leaves a soft fluid film for easy cleaning and less machine maintenance
  • Long sump life and low coolant consumption that reduce the cost for user
  • Low odor and mist that provides a good working environment
  • Good hard water tolerance up to 40 grain
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment

TRIM® TC 241A

Antifoam

TRIM® TC 241A is a long lasting antifoam that does not contain any of the silicone or poly-siloxane ingredients usually found in antifoam. This unique formula results in much longer functional life when compared to traditional antifoams.

  • Only add to synthetic fluids
  • Use 0.01 (100 PPM) as the add rate
  • Pre-mix in either clean water or coolant working solution
  • Adding a little at a time, “up stream” of the filter helps to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • When properly mixed into the working solution, TRIM TC 241A will pass through filtration down to 2 microns, however, when not properly mixed, it may be filtered out
  • This material is very stable, and when properly mixed, three to four weeks between adds is typical
  • Fluid temperatures must be 21°C or higher at the point of agitation
