WEDOLiT FN 2451-850

Fully synthetic forming oil

WEDOLiT FN 2451-850 is a highly viscous, water-insoluble lubricant for wire drawing and other cold forming processes, e.g. deep drawing, extrusion or thread forming, of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The undiluted product is usually applied by brushes or by means of rollers.

WEDOLiT AS 2241-1

High-Protection-DW-Fluid 40°C flash point
(aromatic content ≤ 2%)

WEDOLiT AS 2241-1 is a modern formulated corrosion inhibitor for steel and other metals, which offers long-term protection for indoor storage. Its low viscosity allows it to be used as an immersion bath, e.g. for the treatment of hollow parts. It can also be applied by spraying, flooding, brushing or rolling.

  • Ideal for overseas transport
  • Suitable for VCI-foils: The full corrosion protection is only given in the solvent-free film, therefore a short storage time until the solvent evaporates must be observed especially before packing in boxes with foils
  • Stable against acidic and alkaline contamination
  • Good material compatibility
  • Water displacing with very good wetting behavior
  • Easily removable with organic solvents (cold cleaners) or water-miscible alkaline industrial cleaners
  • Additive loss due to water contact: Extremely low


WEDOLiT AS 4143

Dewatering-fluid 60°C flashpoint
(aromatic content ≤ 2%)

WEDOLiT AS 4143 is a dewatering fluid with corrosion protection properties. It uses surface-active substances to displace both water and emulsions from the metal surface extremely quick. Even highly complex geometries can be efficiently dewatered. It is mainly used as an immersion bath at room temperature.

  • Due to its strong dewatering effect, residues of flushing water or water containing fluids including emulsions and synthetic coolants are removed from the metal surface
  • After evaporation of the solvent, a thin, non-adhesive protective film remains on the surface, which offers corrosion protection for short-term intermediate storage
  • Water/emulsions that enter the bath will settle after a short period on the bottom of the tank and can be drained off
  • Development of a clear phase boundary between the water and the product, without forming an emulsion phase
  • Due to its extreme dewatering properties, the product is ideal for workpieces that are additionally packaged with VCI foils
  • Excellent bath-life
  • Additive loss due to water contact: None

WEDOLiT CS 9203

Water-soluble, fully synthetic coolant

WEDOLiT CS 9203 can be used for different metalworking operations on steel and ferrous metals in grinding, cutting operations as well as a cooling agent for tube-welding and profiling machines. Especially adequate as a transmission fluid for hydraulic presses (e.g. U- and O-presses) or a lubricating /anti corrosion agent in hydro testers.

WEDOLiT EP 1090-E

High performance expander oil

WEDOLiT EP 1090-E is a highly viscous, high-performance, mineral-oil-based forming oil. The product has been developed to the highest technical standard for utilization in the pipe industry (e.g. manufacturing of large diameter pipes, for gas and oil pipelines). The product can be used undiluted and prevents the stick-slip- effect due to the high content of polar additives.

  • Very high film stability (even under high pressures)
  • Good adhesion properties on smooth surfaces, very good wear protection
  • Easily removable with water (spontaneous emulsification)
  • The emulsion can be used for pre- and post-cleaning of the pipes and the expander head and can be easily separated into water and oily waste by the utilization of specific additives
  • The treated water can be reused for the preparation of a new emulsion (to a certain degree)
