High-performance for Hard Disk Drives

Application Guidelines

  • TRIM DRIVE CF2P is normally used at a concentration of 8% - 10% for moderate machining; for heavy-duty machining, concentration at 12% - 15% is most effective.
  • Higher concentrations of TRIM DRIVE CF2P working solutions increase both hydrodynamic and EP lubrication.
  • TRIM DRIVE CF2P is not recommended for use on cast iron, magnesium, or zirconium without special precautions. However, aluminum or zinc alloy with magnesium content is generally acceptable.
  • The excellent "wetting" characteristics of TRIM DRIVE CF2P may wash out dirt and residues when a machine is first charged.
  • Check with Master Fluid Solutions for the proper cleaner product which should be used before filling machine tanks with TRIM DRIVE CF2P.
