Dustin McCallum Speaks About TRIM® VHP® E814

TRIM® MIST

TRIM® MIST is a surface active synthetic coolant concentrate for spray mist operations. It is a clear and virtually odorless fluid that controls the overspray that is common with standard cutting and grinding fluids. It works well in cutting/grinding operations or where spray mists are used on boring mills and high-speed face milling.

  • Provides rapid and effective cooling
  • Keeps grinding wheels clean and free of loading
  • Has superior anti-weld action to control built-up edge and chip welding
  • Compatible with all ferrous and most nonferrous materials
  • Compatible with most nonmetallic materials
  • Has very low odor and is pleasant to work with
  • Contains no oil to leave slippery films on the work piece, the machine, or in the surrounding area
  • Has a very low initial odor level which usually disappears after using for one-to-two days
  • Will keep your machines clean while leaving a soft fluid film that protects the bare metal parts of your machine tools
  • Has exceptional sump life and very good tramp oil rejection

TRIM® MQL™ 1000

Minimum Quantity Lubrication Fluid

TRIM® MQL™ 1000

TRIM® MQL™ 1000 is a high-performance, vegetable-ester-based, micro-lubrication fluid. It is fully compatible with all "micro lube" and micro-mist systems. MQL 1000 contains a blend of environmental and operator-friendly materials that provide very high levels of EP and boundary lubrication to control BUE and sliding friction. MQL 1000 out-performs the competition in sawing, drilling, tapping, reaming, and milling, to name just a few. In situations where it is impractical to use a micro-lubrication applicator, MQL 1000 may be manually applied to the tool or the work piece.

  • No chlorine, sulfur, or mineral oil
  • Out-performs the more expensive products
  • Environmentally friendly, renewable resource based
  • Easily water washable — does not produce hard-to-remove residues
  • Very low mist
  • Promotes superior finish and tool life and is compatible with all materials
  • Very high levels of lubricity with even, minimum quantities of material at the point of cut for high material removal rates
  • Has been extensively tested and proven in all major brands of micro lube applicators

TRIM® VHP® E200PW

Very High-pressure, Pratt & Whitney Approved Emulsion

TRIM® VHP® E200PW

TRIM® VHP® E200PW is a chemical emulsion (soluble oil) coolant that specializes in heavy-duty machining and creepfeed grinding of aircraft alloys. Pratt & Whitney has approved this product for use on all materials. This approval applies to both Pratt & Whitney facilities and authorized subcontractors. The Pratt & Whitney approval number is PMC 9390.

  • Pratt & Whitney (PMC 9390) approved for use in all grinding and machining operations on all metals. VHP E200PW contains a proven and highly effective, nonchlorinated, extreme-pressure additive to control built-up edge and wheel loading
  • No foam at very high pressures and volumes
  • Very high levels of boundary lubrication for superior tapping, reaming, and form grinding results
  • Leaves a soft fluid film to prevent sticky ways, chucks, tool holders, and fixtures
  • Machines are easily washed off with coolant working solution to minimize the buildup of residues and chips
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment

TRIM® VHP® E210

Very High-pressure, Chlorine-free Emulsion

TRIM® VHP® E210

TRIM® VHP® E210 is a specialized, heavy-duty chemical-emulsion, soluble-oil, coolant concentrate. This product is a proven performer in heavy-duty machining, grinding and some stamping operations. It will even run in very high-pressure situations with little-to-no foam.

  • Is compatible with a very wide range of material including steels, stainless steels, and aluminum alloys
  • Low-to-no foam even in very high-pressure operations such as creepfeed grinding, Ejector® drilling, and gundrilling or gunreaming
  • Has sufficient boundary lubrication to do roll-form threading in many materials
  • Superior anti-weld properties without chlorinated EP additives
  • Will keep machines very clean while leaving a soft, fluid film for ease of cleaning and reduced machine maintenance costs
  • Requires no special disposal or recycling techniques

TRIM® VHP® E320

Very High-pressure, High-lubricity Emulsion

TRIM® VHP® E320

TRIM® VHP® E320 is a specialized heavy-duty chemical emulsion (or soluble oil) coolant concentrate. This product is a proven performer in heavy-duty machining, grinding, and some stamping operations. It is particularly effective in creepfeed grinding of steel and super alloys with either conventional or CBN wheels. It will run in very high-pressure situations with little to no foam.

  • Compatible with a very wide range of materials, but is particularly effective on high-strength steel and super alloys
  • Low-to-no foam even in very high-pressure operations like creepfeed grinding, Ejector® drilling, and gundrilling or gunreaming
  • Superior cleaning and EP lubrication characteristics to assist in fast, deep cuts with plated CBN wheels in high-production steel grinding and slotting operations
  • Very good anti-weld properties without the use of chlorinated EP additives
  • Keeps machines very clean while leaving a soft fluid film for ease of cleaning and reduced machine maintenance costs
  • Requires no special disposal or recycling techniques

TRIM® VHP® E812

Very High-pressure Chlorine-free Emulsion

TRIM® VHP® E812

TRIM® VHP® E812 is a low- to no-foam, chlorine-free emulsion. It is ideally suited for those operations that utilize high-pressure, high-volume coolant. VHP E812 is a fluid that will allow you to get maximum benefits from high velocity through-the-tool coolant delivery systems on VMCs and HMCs and will assist in achieving the maximum productivity from creepfeed grinders as well. While VHP E812 is very stable and is both operator and environmentally "friendly", its greatest strength comes from its ability to help you get the job done. It is compatible with all metals and many nonmetallic materials as well. Even with a product as "gutsy" as VHP E812 it will run for extended periods of time without adds and will do so in a very clean manner. VHP E812 has a Pratt Whitney approval (PMC 9393).
