TRIM SOL ® LC sf is a siloxane-free chemical emulsion or soluble oil coolant concentrate designed for light and moderate machining and grinding. This product is designed for a wide variety of metal removal operations on most ferrous metals and many nonferrous metals, such as brass, copper, and aluminum. This product is particularly effective in situations where reactive alloying agents like lead (Pb) are present.

Corrosion-inhibiting Synthetic

TRIM<sup>®</sup> 229

TRIM® 229 is a synthetic coolant that delivers maximum chemical corrosion inhibition on ferrous materials with no residual film at the lowest possible cost. TRIM 229 is often used in surface grinding where maximum cooling and minimum foam are desirable. TRIM 229 is also used in other situations including: water tables on plasma torches, leak detection dip tanks, abrasive cut-off machines, and water-jet cutting systems.

TRIM<sup>®</sup> 9106

TRIM® 9106 is a clear, virtually odorless, synthetic coolant with excellent heat dissipating and corrosion inhibiting qualities. This product is recommended for grinding operations on cast iron, aluminum, and steels. TRIM 9106 will not form ammonia when grinding cast iron and allows graphite to float and prevents swarf from clinkering when grinding cast iron. TRIM 9106 contains no sulfur, phosphorus, chlorine, or other halogens.

TRIM® EP

High-lubricity Semisynthetic

TRIM<sup>®</sup> EP

TRIM® EP is a low oil, high-performance semichemical or semisynthetic product. While EP contains limited amounts of petroleum oil, it is a fully loaded semi using synthetic fats for wetting and lubricity, chlorine, and sulfur EP additives for BUE control. While EP is most often used in heavy-duty production band sawing and drilling operations, it has found extensive use in the production grinding of hardened steel and stainless steel parts.

  • Has the mechanical lubricity necessary to provide protection to blade handling systems on high performance band sawing machines as well as the cooling and antiweld additives to optimize blade life

    TRIM® SC410 is a chlorine-free, semisynthetic coolant using vegetable-derived and ester lubricants. It is very clean running in moderate-duty machining and grinding of both ferrous and nonferrous materials. In addition to its broad range of machining qualities, it has been specially optimized for machining "gray iron" castings and for surface and cylindrical grinding of ferrous materials.

                TRIM<sup>®</sup> TC 204

                TRIM® TC 204 is a water-soluble blue dye. The product is used tank side to replenish depleted dye in water-soluble products or to color undyed products.

                    TRIM® TC 220 is a triazine compound that is very effective in maintaining pH and building reserve alkalinity in metalworking fluid working solutions. Controlling pH within the design range of the product and maintaining an appropriate level of reserve alkalinity are key elements in extending sump life, controlling both liquid and vapor phase corrosion, and controlling the particle size and emulsion stability of soluble oils.

                      TRIM<sup>®</sup> TC 227

                      TRIM® TC 227 is a mixture of lubricity additives. It is designed to increase the hydrodynamic lubrication of water-miscible cutting and grinding fluids. It is particularly effective in increasing tool life and reducing the forces generated in drilling, tapping, and reaming operations in soft, gummy materials. TC 227 has also been effective as an add to chemical coolants used for roll-form tapping in wrought and extruded aluminum alloys.

                        TRIM<sup>®</sup> TC 233

                        TRIM® TC 233 is a dual-purpose additive which is used in synthetic (e.g., TRIM® C270, C276, etc.) and some semisynthetic (e.g., TRIM® SC230, etc.) coolants. It can increase lubricity for operations such as drilling or tapping. At fluid temperatures above 95°F (35°C), it will act as an anti-foam.

                          TRIM<sup>®</sup> TC 234

                          TRIM® TC 234 is a mixture of chemicals to replace the materials that may be preferentially depleted in some (cationic) synthetic and semisynthetic products. Some of these products have such low carryoff that normal make-up will not replace all of the materials which are depleted over long periods of use. When TC 234 is used as part of a comprehensive recycling or coolant management program, it will replace and/or enhance both the ferrous and nonferrous corrosion inhibition systems of coolant working solutions.
